It was “Steady” Ed's wishes that once he passed away his ashes be incorporated into discs so that he could fly...

Ed's family has respected “Steady” Ed's wishes and have had Ed's ashes incorporated into two disc molds with the help of DGA and Discraft to create a limited special run of “Steady” Ed Memorial Discs.

“Steady” Ed loved the Disc Golf and Frisbee® community. We were all part of his extended family during his life. Ed wished for the community to have his discs and for them to have fun and play with them after he passed on.

“Steady” Ed Memorial Discs!!!

“Steady” Ed Memorial discs are available in a sets of two discs, one Putter and one Driver™, shown above.

The Art work was created by Ed's good friend Sharon Kinzie and chosen by “Steady” Ed to be the art work for the discs to carry his ashes.

We understand that some people may not want to play with the discs and that they might end up on a wall as collectibles. Therefore, we are selling the discs as sets of two so that you can at least play with one and keep the other in a pristine state.

Sets cost $210 and include shipping and handling. All proceeds go towards the non profit “Steady” Ed Fund and towards the “Steady” Ed Memorial Museum.

2 disc set: One #001 Memorial Putter and one #001 Memorial Driver.

Cost: $210.00, includes shipping and handling.

Make Checks Payable to the Steady Ed Fund.

"Herein lie the ashes of "Steady" Ed, Founding father of Frisbee and the sport of Disc Golf.

A giant of a man who was many things to many people."

"Fly free and rest in peace"

The inventor of the modern-day Frisbee may be gone, but his spirit — and his ashes — will continue to fly high into the great blue yonder.

“I felt the Frisbee had some kind of a spirit involved. It’s not just like playing catch with a ball. It’s the beautiful flight.”
