DGA ProLine Team

In 2003 DGA released a new line of professional golf discs called the ProLine. In an effort to increase awareness of our new disc line DGA started sponsoring professional players. It was at that time that locals Don Smith and Merle Witvoet were added to the roster and Team DGA was born.

Our ProLine team is a collection of disc golfers that have demonstrated their ability to perform at a professional level. These golfers are a constantly representing DGA by throwing our DGA brand discs and wearing our ever expanding DGA apparel line. Our Proline team sponsorship is mostly a product sponsorship. There are both product and monetary bonuses available for top tournament finishes and off the course promotion of the sport.

Our team members are ambassadors to the sport, they are teachers to our youth, and feel a responsibility to help the sport of disc golf grow. They represent our company’s long standing reputation for being originals and embody the west coast look and feel that our company has developed in the recent years. They all believe in the future of disc golf and the vision we have for our company. They're all proud to be on“Steady” Ed's team and representing the company that started the sport.

While they compete as individuals both locally and nationally our team has a family feel that we have tried to keep as we grow and expand the team. Unlike the other sponsored teams where team members barely know each other Team DGA regularly practices, competes and travels together. Most of our team is based out of our home area, Santa Cruz, California. Many of them call the world famous Delaveaga Disc Golf Course their home course.

While our team is based out of California you don’t need to live on the West Coast to be a DGA Team member. DGA Arm Farm Team

The DGA Arm Farm Team is a developmental team of Amateur disc golfers that DGA has selected for their strong personality traits and long term disc golf potential. The Arm Farm Team is designed to prepare young disc golfers for the world of professional disc golf.

The Arm Farm Team sponsorship is a product sponsorship. Arm Farm Team members constantly promote DGA by wearing our gear and throwing our discs at every disc golf tournament they attend.

Arm Farm Team (AFT) members are asked to represent DGA at all times in a positive light on and off the course.  We want them to develop a deep respect toward the sport and continually try to improve the mental and physical aspects of their game. We hope that all of our AFT members eventually turn Pro and graduate to our ProLine Team.

DGA Disc Golf Ambassadors

DGA Disc Golf Ambassadors are individuals who embody the spirit of the game, show great work ethic, and represent DGA products at the events they are involved with. While our ambassadors all play competitive disc golf their off the course work has set them apart from other golfers. We are excited to have them as part of the DGA family. We think that Steady Ed would be proud that such great people have chosen to carry on his work, representing the company he started and the sport he invented.
